Prieta Post Editor – Open position for POST editor
We are posting articles to website and potentially Facebook while searching for a POST editor.

Public Relations – Open
We are looking for someone to take this position – basics are sending photos into Panorama. John is happy to continue taking pictures, but anyone should feel free to take photos

Safety & Tour– John Reed
Safety – All is safe to begin the year.
Tour – There are two upcoming tours – The Blackhawk Museum Tour on February 26th hosted by Bill & Kate Weir and Peter Ridgway and the Drive to the Drive Tour hosted by John & Angie Reed on March 26th. Publicity and sign-ups for the February tour will be available soon. A few other tours are on the horizon, more on this down the road. A Toys for Tots Tour photo with a caption was recently submitted to Panorama’s From the Regions.

Social Media – Dana Ambrisko
Mid-month blast was sent. Will continue to do so around the 15th of each month. If needed for a busy month, Dana will also send a blast around the 1st of the month. Wishing all a very Happy Holiday!

Tech – Peter Ridgway
I’ll be invoicing and trying to recruit additional LPR sponsors in Jan. I expect all current sponsors back and paying this year and hope to pick up a few more. If anyone is interested in tagging along during my sponsor visits, I’d welcome the company and the opportunity to have others knowledgeable about how we do this. I’d really like to have someone pick up the Tech Chair or at least share it with me. I generally try to push for a few tech sessions during these visits – that’s why I need the 1 page calendar. I will also be trying to schedule the 2022 LPR Concours at Fremont Porsche with Gunter.

Webmaster – Jim Turk
For the month of December 2021, the webmaster did the following:

  • performed website maintenance, upgrade to WordPress 5.8
  • updated the home page with various LPR events and news
  • prepped the site for 2022 (updated information for 2022, particularly AX stuff)

Old Business: None

New Business: Q&A time –

  1. Question from Bill – is there a fee for tours? Should there be? Answer John – During Pandemic, we’ve been waiving the $5 fee to get people to come out. A 1 day tour is $5 per car, weekend event is $10 / car. Iain – there is a free tour discount for new members. Peter – let’s leave our fees the same for now. There is a possibility if there are expenses or whatever that it could be more.
  2. What date to go to Blackhawk initially? Can be taken off line.
  3. Driver education opportunities – Autocross – that’s a great way to start – some additional information about DE with other regions. There will be loaner helmets this year. There was some other discussion of various activities. Further discussion will be offline.
  4. How do badges arrive – they get ordered in quantity and then they arrive
