LPR PCA History: Joined PCA 2013, saw Les Schreiber at Escape to LA – Membership Chair of LPR and a pal from Scouting. Went to Porsche Brunch and heard about AX, instant transfer to LPR! Love every event – Brunch at Alice’s, our Cars & Coffee, LPR GTGs, Tours, AX, Werks Monterey and national events. So many great people and friends!
Favorite Weekend Drive: AX. Melissa and I enjoy our local loops into the Cupertino, Saratoga, Los Gatos foothills.
Conversation Starter: What do you want to talk about? Most of it is new to me! Cars, fun and people seem to be good topics for PCA.

Porsche Ownership History: I’m currently the proud owner of a daily-driven manual 718 Boxster and share a 993 Cabriolet and a Panamera Sport Turismo with John.
LPR PCA History: I’ve been associate member of PCA since 2010. While I frankly didn’t know much about Porsche or PCA before my life with John, the last dozen years have certainly changed that! Over that time, I’ve attended 7 Parades, 2 Treffens, 3 Rennsport Reunions, every WERKS Reunion, countless Zone 7 concours events, and a number of Loma Prieta, Golden Gate and Redwood Region tours and events. John and I have competed with our 993, our 997 Targa and our 991 Club Coupe in Parade Concours.
Favorite Drive: John and I truly enjoy the drive from Santa Cruz to Alice’s Restaurant, Highway 17 to 35 to Woodside.
Conversation Starter: John and I love to compete in concours, if you want to know where dirt can hide in a Porsche, just ask me! I’ve been called the “Department of Interior”.

Porsche Ownership History: As an associate member with Dave Dunwoodie, we have previously owned 1980 928 PetrolBlau Metallic, 1986 911 Prussian Blue, 2008 Cayenne Turbo Crystal Silver, 2006 Cayman S Martini. We currently own 1970 911 RSR Maraschino and 2016 GT4 Sapphire Blue. (Dave had to fill in this information, as I only refer to the cars as “the blue car” or ‘the red car”.)
LPR PCA History: We joined PCA in August 1990.
Favorite Weekend Drive: There are so many lovely drives around the Bay area. Springtime drive on 25 south of Hollister and tours into Yosemite, Gold Country, and Santa Cruz mountains. Looking forward to going on more drives with Dave now that I am retired! (So glad that Dave likes to do all the driving, as I prefer to be a passenger and enjoy the scenery!)
Conversation Starter: My husband, Dave, is very passionate about cars and Porches in particular. I just enjoy the socializing. LPR is a fun club, and I am glad that Dave brought me along! I have been fortunate to have made wonderful friends through the LPR club.

Porsche Ownership History: Porsche Ownership History: My first Porsche was a 1985 911 Targa. I purchased this car from my brother in 2005. We still enjoy driving her, and use her for the Hill Country Rallye and the Campbell Easter Parade. I have become completely spoiled when my husband gave me a 2018 911 GTS for Christmas. I see that my future lies with driving Rosie.
LPR PCA History: LPR/PCA History: We joined PCA in 2005. I seem to be a glutton for punishment, as I have been Membership Director four years previously, as well as Charity Co-Chair.
Favorite Weekend Drive: Favorite Weekend Drive: Up the coast towards Half Moon Bay, and many of our backroads in Santa Cruz County.
Conversation Starter:  Conversation Starter: Lately, my conversations have revolved around remodeling. Fortunately, that subject is completed and done. Travel, cars, and cats seem to be a big part of my life.

Porsche Ownership History: Grew up in car-crazy Southern California in the 70s, so have always been a car person. After owning a couple of British sports cars in the 70s/80s, drove reliable-but-very-boring Honda Civics until 2004, when I bought my first Porsche, a gorgeous, Summer Yellow G50 Carrera (for $18.3k!!!) from my wife Debbie’s then-manager. Since then I’ve owned a 2008 Cayman S Sport Edition (#520 of 700), an ’81 911 SC, and currently own a 2000 Boxster S and a 2016 Cayman GT4
LPR PCA History: Joined PCA in Dec, 2004 after buying my first Porsche. Held a dual membership with LPR & MBR until about 2011. My wife Debbie and I used to organize MBR tours, including an annual Wildflower tour, and tours of various local and remote wineries. My favorite was one we organized to the North Coast – Healdsburg, Boonville, Mendocino in 2009
Favorite Weekend Drive: Laguna Seca raceway (doesn’t have to be a weekend!).
Conversation Starter: Debbie and I Iove traveling so any talk of recent or potential trips will always get my attention.

Conversation Starter: You pick the topic and we’ll talk!

Porsche Ownership History: My first Porsche was a 2002 911 Carrera and is when I first got involved with PCA. My wife Cindy currently drives a 2015 Macan S and previously a 2008 Cayenne. My current Porsche is a 2007 997 TT with which I enjoy autocross and track days and has slowly been modified since buying new. I’ve been a “car guy” since my teens and always had some sort of project car.
LPR PCA History: I joined PCA in 2002, originally with the GGR. I had a attended a few Marina autocross events and then my wife Cindy and I attended an LPR family picnic and were really taken by how welcoming and friendly LPR members were and so we switched affiliation in 2015. It’s really a wonderful group of people to socialize and share stories with.
Favorite Weekend Drive: Autocross of course!
Conversation Starter: Anything to do with cars, guitars or home brewing
