John Reed reinstitutes the Dummkopf Award
John Reed managed to damage the wheel of his new Porsche by doing what is commonly accepted as being a big no-no; driving through a pile of leaves at the road's edge. He felt so foolish that he called the Godfather of Loma Prieta Region, Ken Iles, and requested that he, in accordance with the founding spirit of LPR, be honored for his foolishness. Ken Iles obliged and presented this award.
2015 Indy 500 GTG
This unidentified driver in the 2015 Indianapolis 500 demonstrates what can only be identified as "the Pinkie Wave". Whether it is for the camera or for the crowd is also undetermined and one can only wonder if it is being used because it is more aerodynamic than the full, four-fingered approach.

The May autocross drew a wide field of participants. including the owner of this slightly modified 914. As it is a vintage car, one would assume that the wrap is not to keep it fresh, ergo, it would seem its purpose is to keep the tires warm...
