LPR member receives Publisher Clearing House prize!
For all of those LPR members who dutifully enter the Publishers Clearing House contest year after year, but haven’t ever won diddly, this is a story about one of our emeritus members who ACTUALLY did win a prize (and what a prize it is).
Les Schreiber, recently reported the following fantastic news:
I’ve been entering Publishing Cleaning House’s contest on my computer and cell phone (more recently) since 1972 and naturally liked to be a winner, but really never expected to win. I was really surprised this morning when the representative from Publishing Clearing House was at my doorstep introduced herself, asked me my name, and then told me I had won.
I had a choice of Ford 150 LightingXlt or cash. They also include a dozen Red Roses and a Bottle of Champagne.
I chose the money, so I could share it with my family and I shared the bottle of Champagne and Dinner with my neighbors who joined me in my celebration
As to notifications, Publishers Clearing House doesn’t notify you, they just show up on your doorstep as a complete surprise, which it really was.
I was a longtime member of LPR ( past membership chair, past President and Region Concourse Chair).
