Inn to Inn Drive

Heartbreaking, breathtaking, glass-shattering, heart-stopping are just a few of the features of LPCR’s Inn to Inn tour. We started out mid-morning on a beautiful Sunday at the Inn at Pasatiempo. The passel of pretty Porsches even attracted another Porsche driver off the road to check us out!
Then we started out in two groups led by our fearless leaders Kris and Tony Vanacore. Driving through the scenic San Lorenzo Valley to test our driving skills around the curves and hills of our famous Santa Cruz mountains. Seeing some of the devastation wrought by the CZU wildfire was terribly sad but seeing regrowth in fire-ravaged areas was truly heartening.
After the tour, we arrived at the Tyrolean Inn for some Germanic camaraderie, beverages and food. A waiter even provided some special Halloween frightful entertainment by dropping his tray at a table. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the only casualties were some broken glass and spilled beer. Our hero Ann/Pat?(NOT SURE OF HER NAME [Ed. – Debbie I believe]) kept her composure and her beer! Many members helped clean die messe so everyone could get back to the fun
After enjoying our beverages for a while, some hearty Bavarian food appeared: sausages, sauerkraut, schnitzel, and spaetzle to sate the hungry travelers. The delicious meal finished with some apfelstrudel. A good time was had by all although we were sad to learn that the Tyrolean Inn will soon be closing. It was wunderbar to have a great last meal there. Thank you, Vanacores.
Prost!
