Mountains, and flowers and curves, oh my! Our club car tour to Filoli was a delightful adventure full of surprises. We started out on a beautiful sunny day among our area’s towering redwoods. The sky was clear and our merry band of drivers made good time so we got to stop by the Pulgas Water temple. An amazing landmark, the temple is a fascinating engineering feat that reminds us of how important water is to our valley.
Then it was on to Filoli to Fight the wind, love the scenery, and live the good life! A guide gave us a brief introduction to the famous property and a tour of their grand ballroom. And then it was time for a scrumptious lunch at the cafe on the premises and on to the gardens. Flowers, flowers and more flowers were stunning and the sun emerged to show off the splendor.
