Upon finding out that our previous location, Corral de Tierra, would not host us this year due to Covid concerns, we had to scramble to find a new location. Sandy and I scoured the Monterey Peninsula looking for any piece of large grass that could possibly be large enough to host an event like Werks Reunion. We found 2 very good possibilities and after a few site visits, we decided to go with Bayonet golf course, due to its picturesque setting.
Planning an event in a new city at a new venue, with only two short months, was a daunting task. We had a lot of challenges, but with the help from my dedicated staff and PCA national staff, we pulled off an amazing event. New this year was a live band and TV screens to play video interviews.
We had a few issues with traffic and are already planning for improvements next year.

- Sold out of corral spots 2 weeks before closing date
- 167 judged cars
- 529 corral cars
- 19 states represented
- 2 entrants from Germany who shipped their cars over
