Saturday October 17th – Jacob’s Heart Charity Tour
Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services exists to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and support their families in the challenges they face.
They provide family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical and financial struggles for families of children and teens during treatment, families experiencing anticipatory grief and those who are bereaved.
Jacobs Heart envisions a community where every child with a serious or life-threatening condition has a strong, supported and informed family empowered to fully participate in their care. They strive to inspire compassionate action within local communities to create a safety net of support for the unique needs of each child and family. https://www.jacobsheart.org
We will meet at 10:00am in the Jacob’s Heart parking lot at 680 W. Beach Street, Watsonville, CA. PCA required Covid 19 forms and LPR liability forms will be required for all attendees as are masks when not driving.
Following the paperwork and the drivers meeting we will drive some of the back roads of southern Santa Cruz County ending where we began at Jacob’s Heart. We will hand over all donations and have a Covid safe photo taken.
The tour will be $25.00 per person (but of course we’d love for your heart to be generous). The LPR tour fee has been waived to inspire greater donations.
