LOMA PRIETA REGION OF THE PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA PRIVACY POLICY
We will tell you the sources for personal information we collect on our members. We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We use some terms that are defined in the following section.

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS
“We”, “us”, “our”, and LPR refers to the Loma Prieta Region of the Porsche Club of America, Inc.
“Personal information” means information about you that we collect in connection with your application for membership, your communications with us, your participation in our activities, your use of our website, or any other nonpublic means in which we come about information about you. Personal Information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not provide to anyone outside of LPR Personal Information about our members, their interests, their cars, their home or email addresses, their Personal Information or data. Our members’ Personal Information is not made available for mailing lists or to businesses, even if they are involved in Porsche® car related activities. It is not made available to Porsche Cars North America, Porsche, A.G., or any of its affiliate companies. We do NOT disclose any personal information about you to anyone outside of LPR, except as required by law or as follows:

Newsletter Exceptions
The LPR Newsletter, the Prieta Post, contains a variety of information regarding club events, both past and future. The Newsletter Editor shall use reasonable efforts to eliminate from any copy submitted for publication the items considered Personal Information unless express permission to publish is provided. The Newsletter Editor may in his/her discretion include captions referencing the name of any club member.

Website Exceptions
The LPR website shall follow the same procedure as outlined for the LPR Newsletter Exceptions.

LPR Board Exceptions
The LPR Board may provide exceptions to the above outlined policy as it deems necessary, this may include but is not limited to the following:

  1. Board member or Committee Chairperson contact information, including full name, address, telephone number and email address;
  2. Identified photographs of Board members;
  3. Identified photographs of club members;
  4. And any other information that a club member chooses to share with the general public.

Our members’ personal information is used within LPR only on a need to know basis. For example, we do not provide another Porsche Club of America regional club with the Personal Information about our members. We restrict access to Personal Information about members to those members who need to know that information to perform their function, and to our officers, or committee members who need to know that information to serve in their roles with us. We maintain reasonable safeguards to guard your Personal Information.

FORMER MEMBERS
If you cease to be an LPR member, we will follow our then-current privacy policies and practices with respect to your Personal Information.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to amend or modify this privacy policy at any time. If we do, we will post notice on our website of such changes at least 30 days before any changes are implemented.

SPECIFIC REQUESTS
The LPR Board shall make reasonable efforts to honor a specific request to keep a club member’s information private.
